And they negated it!&lt;o:p&gt;&lt;/o:p&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div class="MsoNormal"&gt;&lt;span lang="EN-AU" style="font-family: Times;"&gt;This happened to me today. &amp;nbsp;I gave their question my best shot and they said no that was not the right answer / response.&lt;o:p&gt;&lt;/o:p&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div class="MsoNormal"&gt;&lt;span lang="EN-AU" style="font-family: Times;"&gt;Well for me my answer was correct and true. And as an assertive skills trainer I want you to hear me!&lt;o:p&gt;&lt;/o:p&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div class="MsoNormal"&gt;&lt;span lang="EN-AU" style="font-family: Times;"&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div class="MsoNormal"&gt;&lt;span lang="EN-AU" style="font-family: Times;"&gt;&lt;b&gt;And&lt;/b&gt; as an encourager, facilitator, trainer, mentor and coach I give &lt;b&gt;and&lt;/b&gt; appreciate a response that acknowledges my truth.&lt;o:p&gt;&lt;/o:p&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div class="MsoNormal"&gt;&lt;span lang="EN-AU" style="font-family: Times;"&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div class="MsoNormal"&gt;&lt;span lang="EN-AU" style="font-family: Times;"&gt;How? &amp;nbsp;It is easy when you know how.&lt;o:p&gt;&lt;/o:p&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div class="MsoNormal"&gt;&lt;span lang="EN-AU" style="font-family: Times;"&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div class="MsoNormal"&gt;&lt;span lang="EN-AU" style="font-family: Times;"&gt;&lt;b&gt;Say yes&amp;nbsp;&lt;/b&gt;&lt;span style="mso-spacerun: yes;"&gt; &lt;/span&gt;. . . that’s one way / that's interesting / I hadn't thought of that,&amp;nbsp;&lt;b&gt;AND&lt;/b&gt; here’s another possibility / alternative / idea&lt;span style="mso-spacerun: yes;"&gt;&amp;nbsp; &lt;/span&gt;. . . what do you think?&lt;o:p&gt;&lt;/o:p&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div class="MsoNormal"&gt;&lt;span lang="EN-AU" style="font-family: Times;"&gt;This validates the other person’s reality while exploring and expanding both our thoughts and models of our worlds.&lt;o:p&gt;&lt;/o:p&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div class="MsoNormal"&gt;&lt;span lang="EN-AU" style="font-family: Times;"&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div class="MsoNormal"&gt;I encourage you to please accept and build on others responses today. It will take AI another couple of decades to do that stuff." &lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;John McCarthy, coined the term artificial intelligence (AI) in 1956, and defines it as "the science and engineering of making intelligent machines."&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Ideally, we use intelligent machines to help us be more efficient and effective.
